This panel is constructed from aerospace grade carbon fiber, and high quality epoxy.  The layup of this panels is quasi-isotropic. Standard carbon fiber panels have carbon fiber filament oriented at 0 and 90 degrees, whereas quasi-isotropic panels have carbon fiber running at 0, 90, 45, and -45 degrees. This results in more uniform strength characteristics that are generally better for applications involving dynamic loading. We employ manufacturing methods that result in a high fiber to resin ratio, a high strength to weight ratio, a low void content, and high quality finish characteristics. Our panels leave the mold with a beautiful high gloss surface on one side, and a matte finish on the other side for bonding.  Made in San Diego CA. Note: These panels are designed to be flat and rigid, and will not conform to curved surfaces.
